Friday night, Follow the Train is scheduled to play their first show in support of their latest album, Mercury at the Rudyard Kipling. This will be the band's first show since their farewell concert at Headliner's Music Hall in January '09.

According to the band's website, http://www.followthetrain.com/, "Mercury" is a culmination of a year's worth of efforts from the band's most recent lineup consisting of Dennis Sheridan (founding member), Dave Cronin, James Hewett, Mike Sabo, Brandon Jones and Carlos Ramos. Kevin Ratterman (Wax Fang drummer) helped produce the record, while Yim Yames helped with pre production.

Mercury is a digital-only release on Yame's Removador Recordings and Solutions. Also showcased on Removador is local, Lydia Burrell, who is also scheduled to perform.

The show is scheduled to begin at 10 pm. The Rudyard Kipling is located downtown at 422 West Oak St.
