So, sometimes you just can't get with dad on Father's Day. A great pre-Father's Day alternative is the first Annual Food Truckus Ruckus! put on by Fresh Start Growers' Supply. They've herded all the local food trucks into a single lot to provide you with Kentucky raised munchies straight from the truck. Come out to their location to see how good local foods can taste at 1007 E. Jefferson Street.
The event takes place tomorrow (Saturday), June 18th from 11am to 3pm. Fresh Start Growers supply is asking all that attend to enter the parking lot from Baxter Avenue.
Expect to taste at least the following trucks' wares: Lil' Cheezers Gourmet Grilled Cheesemobile, San Diego Sandwich Works, Mozzapi, Morel's Vegan Food Truck, and El Rumbon. The event organizers boast of door prizes and live music--Leigh Ann Yost and Bunny Day & The Mercy Buckets.
