Everyone knows Fiddler on the Roof. Maybe you saw or even performed it in high school. Maybe you’ve seen it on Broadway. Maybe you’ve just heard the songs. Whatever the case, chances are you know something about Fiddler on the Roof.
This month, CenterStage plans to bring the ever popular, classic production to life. With music by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, and book by Joseph Stein, the story follows Tevye as he tries to uphold Jewish traditions with his strong-minded daughters in an ever-changing world. With such songs as “Matchmaker, Matchmaker,” “If I Were a Rich Man,” and “Sunrise, Sunset,” you’ll be singing gorgeous ballads for days.
Fiddler on the Roof will run from March 12th through the 29th with night performances on Thursdays and Saturdays and matinee performances on Sundays. There will also be a Monday night performance on the 23rd. Advance tickets are only $20 for adults and $16 for kids.
