Here in the Bluegrass State, there are certain things we all covet. Bourbon is one of those things, for obvious reasons, and this spring Heaven Hill is giving us a reason to love it even more. The nations largest independent, family-owned and operated spirits producer is set to add Evan Williams Peach to its portfolio of flavored whiskeys.
Combining the crisp, light taste of peaches with the smooth flavors that have made the brand famous, Evan Williams Peach can easily be served in a shot glass, chilled of course, or mixed frozen or on the rocks. Bottled at 70 proof, it comes packaged in the iconic square Evan Williams bottle. Lucky for us, the brand has set a release date of May 1, which means we’ll all be able to enjoy it with our Derby festivities. Other markets included in this release are Texas, Arkansas, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, upstate New York, Ohio and California.
The company is excited about this expansion of the brand. Evan Williams Brand Manager Chris Ratterman certainly believes in the potential. “Given the growth of the Evan Williams brand and the continued success of our flavor line, we fully anticipate Evan Williams Peach to play a key role in continuing to expand our presence within the flavored whiskey category.”
