Entrants are reminded to wear weather-appropriate clothing and to bring common sense to the park.
At this point, there are no plans to cancel or delay the race due to weather or snow, so be sure to bring your smarts to the park.
Or, heed the advice of Camille Estes with River City Races “In cold weather or situations in which the temperature may fall, precautions should be taken. Long runs of an hour or more in cool or rainy weather increase risk. Wear layers; cover exposed skin including hands, ears and nose; stay hydrated; and know the symptoms of hypothermia and frostbite.”
