Dear Lou,
I met this amazing guy, but he lives in Southern Indiana. At what point is a relationship serious enough that I should consider financially investing toll money in it? I don't want to waste my money, but I don't want to miss out on Mr. Right for lack of pocket change.
Sincerely,
Hesitant in the Highlands
Dear Hesitant in the Highlands,
You can’t put a toll on love, or can you? I think a cross benefit analysis might be the answer. Lay everything out in front of you, look at the facts. Establish potential cost benefits and potential cost fails if Mr. Right decides to jump bridge. Tolls for frequent commuters crossing the bridge are set at $1.00, so depending on how often you’re traveling to the sunny side, it could cost you a pretty penny, unless you take his pennies...
Luckily, you have some time. The tolls aren’t in effect yet and even once they are you could travel across the Second Street or Shermon Minton for free until the right price becomes clear.
-Lou
