This year, former Miss Kentucky Spirit, now international Model and business owner Danielle Dafler, after many years working with charities as a national pageant titleholder and with an absolute passion for giving back, has decided to host The Danielle Dafler Celebrity Charity Gala at The Grand on East Market Street in New Albany, Indiana on the 3rd of May.  As the first of a new annual event and is promising to be one of the most anticipated events of the 139th Derby Calendar and will immerse it’s guests in a true, old style Hollywood experience where you would expect Frankie, Sammy or Dean themselves to arrive at any moment.  Dress smart and enjoy the swing band, bottle service, red carpet, step and repeat photograph, celebrity meet and greet and stunning décor.  Basically, a really good night out for someone looking for something in between the formal dinners and Rap parties Derby is famous for.  World renowned and infamous DJ Shawn Michael will also be hitting the decks later in the evening to pack out the dance floor.  With a couple of big sponsors on board and charities like The Boys and Girls Club, ArtsReach, RAUCH and Home for the Innocents benefiting, we are looking forward to a spectacular night and an annual event to look forward to every year. General admission is $75, Premium Seating is $150 and Table Bookings are $1,500 per table (seats 10).  Corporate Sponsorships will also be considered as well as donations towards our charities.
