Sylvia will take place Feb. 26-Mar. 2 at 8 p.m. each night. A matinee is to happen on Mar. 2 at 3 p.m. All performances are to occur in the Thrust Theatre, located on the U of L campus at 2314 S Floyd Street (same intersection as the McDonalds).

Sylvia is the name of the dog Greg takes home to be with Kate and himself. Greg and Sylvia (played by an actor) immediately bond and spend plenty of time together while Sylvia, much to Kate's disliking. The trio are at constant odds and comedy is the result of the tension and attempts at compromise.

Daniel R. Hill directed Sylvia, which A.R. Gurney created.

Following Sylvia, U of L theatre arts will present Gem of the Ocean. That production will take place in April. More information on the show can be found at the U of L theatre arts website.
