Greg and Sylvia (played by an actor) immediately bond and spend plenty of time together while Sylvia, much to Kate's disliking. The trio are at constant odds and comedy is the result of the tension and attempts at compromise.

Daniel R. Hill directed Sylvia, which A.R. Gurney created.
