Mistaken identities lead to hilarity in the Shakespearean play The Comedy of Errors, which the Youth Performing Arts School will present this weekend.

The Comedy of Errors will go on May 8, 9, 16, and 17 at 7:30 p.m. each night. All performances are to happen at YPAS, located at 1517 S. 2nd Street in Old Louisville.

Tickets for each show are $10 for adults, $9 for students, and $9 for seniors. All tickets can be purchased at the door or the YPAS website.

The Comedy of Errors features mistaken identities as two sets of twins, accidently separated at birth, arrive at the same place as their identical counterparts. Accusations, near-seductions, and confusion take shape from the family and friends, who do not know about the twin separation.

Brian Hinds adapted the Shakespearean production for the YPAS stage.

The Comedy of Errors is the last YPAS theater show of the season. More information on the school can be found at its website.
