    A Christmas Carol

New Albany and Floyd Central High Schools celebrate Christmas with the musical A Christmas Carol, which opens tonight.

A Christmas Carol, the Musical will go on Nov. 4, 5, 11, and 12 at 7:30 p.m. each night.   Matinee shows, meanwhile, will take place Nov. 6 and 13 at 2 p.m. each day.  All performances will go on at Floyd Central High School, located at 6575 Old Vincennes Road in Floyds Knobs, IN.

Tickets for each show are $12 for adults, $10 for senior citizens, and $6 for students.  Reservations are strongly recommended, and can be made by calling the reservation line at 812-542-2284.

Floyd Central and New Albany High School's theatre departments have combined to bring forth the classic Christmas musical of Ebanezer Scrooge and his bah-humbug ways being turned towards the Christmas spirit.  A Christmas Carol, of course, will feature the three Christmas ghosts, who bring his life into focus.

Chris Bundy, of Floyd Central HS, and David Longest, of New Albany HS, co-directed the show, which is based on the Dickens classic novel.
