    Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown

, a special exhibit of Peanuts memorabilia, returns to the Louisville Slugger Museum once again this holiday season. Showing through January 2, 2011, it showcases the holiday and winter hijinks of

Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang in comic strips dating back to its creation in 1950. The heartwarming 1965 animated classic, A Charlie Brown Christmas

also shows continuously on a television and is highlighted with a display of special letters from children and families who were touched by the cartoon when it first aired.

Admission to Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown is included with your admission to the Louisville Slugger Museum. Although the museum itself is small, it is filled with bits of trivia that will educate even the most knowledgeable baseball fans. A tour through the bat-making factory is a real treat and quite a wonder to behold. Whether a baseball fan or not, it is a must for anyone visiting Louisville, as well as those who live here year-round.

A graduate of Texas Tech University (Wreck 'Em, Tech!), I am a Native Texan who recently moved to Louisville, Kentucky. I have worked in the bridal and wedding industry for four years, and about a year ago, I decided to turn my hobby of photography into a side-business. I enjoy photographing portraits, events, and the beauty in every day objects and activities. I also enjoy traveling, blogging, watching musicals, and snuggling with my 8 year old Chow/Border Collie mix, Casey.
