A Halloween-related musical for the family is set to take place this weekend at Floyd Central High School in the form of Captain Louie.

All performances of Captain Louie will take place at Floyd Central High School, located at 6575 Old Vincennes Road in Floyd Knobs, IN. Performances will occur on Sept. 30, Oct. 1, 2, and 3 at 7 p.m. each night. Matinee performances, meanwhile, will happen on Oct. 2 and 3 at 2 p.m. each day.

Tickets for the evening shows and the Oct. 3 matinee show are $10 for adults and $6 for students. All tickets, meanwhile, for the Oct. 2 matinee are $5 for all seats. More information can be found at the Floyd Central HS theatre arts website or by calling 812-542-2284.

Captain Louie features a child, recently moved to a new area, running through his imagination on Halloween night. Stephen Schwartz created the music and lyrics and Anthony Stein created the book for Captain Louie.

Following Captain Louie, Floyd Central's theatre arts program will present Teahouse on the August Moon. That production is set to run from Oct. 14-17 at Floyd Central.
