Shrek has gone from the movies to the Louisville stage, at least for this weekend at Kentucky Center for the Arts.

Shrek the Musical performances will continue today at 7:30 p.m., tomorrow at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 8 p.m., and Sunday at 1 and 6:30 p.m.  All shows will go on in Whitney Hall at Kentucky Center for the Arts, which is located at 501 West Main Street in downtown Louisville.

Tickets for the show range in price between $22.50 and $71.50.  All tickets can be purchased at the Kentucky Center box office, the Kentucky Center website, or by calling the box office at 1-800-775-7777.

Shrek the Musical features all of the favorite characters from the movie franchise, including the ogre himself.  Follow Shrek and his friends as he looks to save a rather feisty princess.

More information on the show can be found at the Broadway Across America website.
