Alfred Hitchcock gets the comedic treatment in The 39 Steps, which Mind's Eye Theatre Company will present starting tonight.

The 39 Steps will take place on Apr. 18, 19, 29, 25, and 26 at 8 p.m. each night. A matinee will go on Apr. 27 at 2 p.m. All performances are to happen in the Mex Theater at Kentucky Center for the Arts, located at 501 West Main Street in downtown Louisville.

Tickets for most shows are $!6 per person, and tickets for the Apr. 20 show are $12 per person. All tickets can be purchased at the Kentucky Center box office, Kentucky Center website, or by calling the box office at 502-584-7777.

The 39 Steps is a zany, fast-paced version of the original Alfred Hitchcock movie and John Buchnan novel featuring an Englishman brought into a plot thanks to a beautiful spy. When that spy is murdered, the Englishman is on the run from her assailants. Along the way, he will understand the meaning of "39 steps".

More information on this show can be found at the Kentucky Center website or the Mind's Eye Theatre Company Facebook page.
