Beauty for a Benefit Murder Mystery Dinner Preview [Society]

It’s the 1920’s, and you find yourself getting slightly intoxicated at a local speakeasy. There is a hit out on someone at the party, causing mass hysteria in the town. You look to your left. Is he capable of murder? You look to your right. Is it her? They are all glaring back at you. Could it be you? In a roaring and thrilling fashion, you will have the chance to find out just who this culprit is at the Beauty for a Benefit Murder Mystery Dinner.

Hosted by Beauty for a Benefit and sponsored by Omagi Salon Spa, the special murder mystery will take place Saturday, October 13 in the Brown/Collins room at the Galt House.

Beauty for a Benefit, also known as BFAB, serves as a "charity for charities," bringing awareness to the many nonprofits in the Louisville community. Each year, Beauty for a Benefit selects a new organization to serve and holds monthly fundraisers for the selected charity. This year’s beneficiary is the Home of the Innocents, a local nonprofit that serves children in crisis, including those who have been abused or neglected, need life-sustaining treatment, or have autism.

The three-hour event will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with a special cocktail hour. Tickets are $75 per person and will include admission, a full cash bar, a three-course meal, a chance to bid on the silent and live auctions, and an opportunity to participate in the Murder Mystery. All proceeds will benefit the Home of the Innocents.

Attendees partaking in the Murder Mystery will receive a special character packet prior to the event and are encouraged to come dressed as their character. If being a spectator is more your cup of tea, simply come dressed in your best 1920s-esque wear, and get ready for a thriller.

For those of you who don’t want the night to end, Beauty for a Benefit has reserved a limited number of rooms at the Galt House at a deeply discounted rate. For more ticket information and other inquiries, please contact Wes Auberry at (502) 426-2213.

Cues suspenseful music. Are you ready?
