    Easter Brunch is an important part of Easter for many people. Families getting together, couples meeting with other couples, or those simply wanting a taste of some Louisville local flair on this holiday may have you looking for a scrumptious place to stop for brunch on Sunday, April 20. Here’s a rundown of places we found to feature.

    Winston’s Easter Brunch

    The entrée scheduled for this brunch is called the “not Brown.” Featured on Food Network’s Throwdown with Bobby Flay, this version of the Hot Brown is seafood based, using shrimp, crab, spinach, fried green tomatoes, bacon, and Mornay sauce. The menu will be served from 9:30am-1:30pm. Cost is $25 for an appetizer, entrée, and dessert ($16 for children ages 4-10; 4 and under dine for free). Call 502-486-0980 for reservations.     Brown Hotel Easter Brunch

    Two brunch menus will be available on Easter, a more elegant sit-down meal at English Grill and a casual buffet at J. Graham’s Café. On the slate for English Grill is English pea bisque, seasonal salad, oysters on the half shell and king crab legs as well as roasted duck and filet mignon. Cost is $59 per person ($20 for children ages 4-12; 4 and under dine for free). Seating takes place at 11:30am, 11:45am, 1:15pm, and 1:30pm. Call 502-583-1234 for reservations. For the more casual buffet-style at J. Grahams, guests can indulge in a make-your-own-omelet station, or beef tenderloin and Kentucky spiral ham. Other offerings will be pasta or a Hot Brown sandwich. Cost is $38 per person ($18 for children ages 4-12; 4 and under dine for free). Seating times are the same as for the English Grill.     Crowne Plaza Easter Brunch

    This Easter brunch is more of a family-geared setting, with a delicious meal as well as visits from the Easter bunny and egg hunts on the hour. Menu selections include breakfast offerings such as farm fresh eggs, omelet made-to-order, fresh seafood, turkey and beef entrees, fresh vegetables and salads, as well as delectable desserts. Brunch will be from 11am-3pm. Cost is $35 ($31 for seniors), ($17.50 for children ages 6-12; 5 and under dine for free). Call 502-367-2251 for reservations.

    Easter Brunch at Hillbilly Tea

    The website advertises an Easter brunch; reservations are needed. Call 502-587-7350. Hillbilly Tea is located at 120 S. 1st Street.

    Easter Brunch at Volare

    This unique Frankfort Avenue spot is offering an Easter brunch from 11:30am-2:30pm. Call 502-894-4446.

    Varanese 

    Varanese will be offering an Easter brunch beginning at 11:30am. Organic and original-poached eggs over crab cakes is one of their delicious entree offerings. Call 502-899-9904.

    Proof on Main

    Hop on over to Proof for Easter brunch. Served from 10am-2pm. Call 502-217-6360 for reservations.

    Corbett's

    This east end restaurant has an Easter brunch scheduled for 10am-2:30pm. Call 502-327-5058 for reservations.

    Easter Brunch Cruise on the Belle of Louisville

    Step aboard iconic Belle of Louisville for an Easter Day Cruise, complete with a delicious lunch buffet and a visit from the Easter bunny. There are options to cruise without dining as well. Cost is $40 ($25 for children ages 3-12). The Easter cruise boards at 12:30pm and cruises from 1pm-3pm.

    Brunch, Bubbly, and Jazz at BLU Italian Grille

    Every Sunday, BLU Italian Grille has a Sunday brunch from 10:30-2pm. Enjoy live jazz music while you dine on omelets and carvings prepared at the chef’s station, eggs benedict, fresh pasta, smoked salmon, and assorted salads and antipasto selections with bottomless sparkling wine and mimosas. On Easter Sunday, they will also be featuring lobster ravioli and a prime rib carving station. Cost is $39 per person (children ages 4-12 dine for $19; under 4 dine free).     Easter Brunch at Bourbons Bistro

    Sunday, April 20, 10am-2pm; a buffet will be offered for $18 per person. Bourbons Bistro is located at 2255 Frankfort Avenue. Call 502-894-8838.

    Easter Brunch at the Galt House

    Enjoy an Easter day downtown at the Galt House from 10am-4pm. Brunch will be served in the Archibald Cochran Ballroom and will feature everything from Belgian waffles to delicious glazed ham. Photo ops with the Easter bunny will delight the children in your party as will face painting and an Easter-themed petting zoo. Cost is $35 for adults (children ages 12 and under enter for $15, 3 and under enter free). For reservations call 502-568-4241. Visit www.galthouse.com.

    Easter Brunch at RIVUE Restaurant

    An Easter brunch at renowned RIVUE Restaurant and Lounge atop the Galt House will definitely be an indulgence. The menu features spice rubbed chicken breast, smoked cremini mushrooms, a honey-glazed pork loin, carving stations with beef strip and leg of lamb, as well as the traditional brunch offerings like omelets prepared your way and a Belgian waffle station. It is from 10am-4pm. Cost is $50 for adults ($17.50 for children ages 10 and under, three and under dine for free). For reservations call 502-568-4239. Visit RIVUE.com for more information.
