The Bard's Town Theatre presents an examination of romance and physical appearance in Reasons to Be Pretty, which opens tonight.

Reasons to Be Pretty will take place June 20-23 and June 27-29 at 7:30 p.m. each night.  All performances will happen at The Bard's Town, located at 1801 Bardstown Road in the Highlands.

Tickets for most shows are $15 for adults, $12 for students, and $12 for seniors.  Opening night tickets, however, are $10 per person.  Due to limited seating, reservations are strongly recommended and can be done by calling 502-749-5275 or by going to The Bard's Town Theatre website.

Reasons to Be Pretty is a drama that focuses on people's infatuation with physical appearance. Four friends and lovers become less and less happy about their personal situations and relationships.  When a boyfriend talks to a girlfriend about certain physical issues, a cascade of problems arise.

Neil LaBute created Reasons to Be Pretty, and Doug Schutte directed it for The Bard's Town Theatre.  Cast members include Schutte, Megan Brown, Cara McHugh, and Chris Petty.

More information on the show can be found at The Bard's Town Theatre website.
