An experiment to end workplace depression goes on in Rx, which opens at The Bard's Town Theatre this weekend.

Rx will take place Oct. 24-27 and 31-Nov. 2 at 7:30 p.m. each night. All performances are to happen at The Bard's Town, located at 1801 Bardstown Road in the Highlands.

Tickets for each show are $15 for adults, $12 for students, and $12 for senior citizens. Tickets are discounted if, on Oct. 31, a canned good is brought in to The Bard's Town for donation to Dare to Care. Due to limited seating, reservations are recommended and can be made at The Bard's Town Theatre website.

Rx is a comedy that features a researcher, Phil, who is involved with a trial of Thriveon, a drug in the testing phase that could cure workplace depression. Meena is one of the testing subjects who is suffering from workplace depression. Is this the cure for Meena?

Meanwhile, Phil has his own issues for which Meena could be the answer.

    Kate Fodor created the produciton.

Following Rx, The Bard's Town Theatre will present The Kings of Christmas. The Bard's Town Theatre's Christmas tradition will take place in December. More information on the shows, the theatre, and the food can be found at The Bard's Town website.
