Adult siblings move back home and attempt to rebuild their lives in Things We Want, which opens at The Bard's Town Theatre on Thursday.
Things We Want performances will happen on May 9-12 and 16-18 at 7:30 p.m. each night. All performances are to take place in The Bard's Town Theatre, located on the second floor of The Bard's Town at 1801 Bardstown Road in the Highlands.
Tickets for each show are $15 for adults, $12 for students, and $12 for senior citizens. Due to limited seating, advance ticket purchase is highly recommended and can be done at The Bard's Town Theatre website.
Things We Want deals with themes of defining happiness and the ability to change. Three adult siblings who are forced to return to their childhood dwelling to live. The siblings have the dual struggle of challenges in chasing their desires and coping with the passing of their parents. Things become much more complicated when a good-looking neighbor becomes part of the mix.
Jonathan Marc Sherman created Things We Want, which J.P. Lebangood directed. The cast includes Lebangood, Ryan Watson, April Singer, and Scot Atkinson.
The Bard's Town Theatre, following Things We Want, will continue its season with reasons to be pretty in June. In the meantime, make sure to check out The Bard's Town's menu and bar service, which is available before and after every performance.
