Derby Dinner Playhouse heads to space in its children's theater production of Awesome Allie: First Kid Astronaut starting Saturday.

Awesome Allie performances are to happen on May 25, June 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 for breakfast and lunch shows.  Breakfast buffets begin at 9 a.m. with show starting at 10 a.m., and lunch buffets begin at 12 p.m. with show starting at 1:15 p.m.  All performances are to happen at Derby Dinner Playhouse, located at 525 Marriott Drive in Clarksville, IN.

Tickets for each breakfast show are $16 per person, and lunch shows are $21 per person.  All tickets can be purchased at the Derby Dinner box office, the Derby Dinner website, or by calling the box office at 812-288-8281.

Awesome Allie: First Kid Astronaut features a seemingly normal kid who winds up on an adventure into outer space.  As she travels across the solar system, she has Captain Chaos and Rover, a dancing robot, as her sidekicks.  Together, the three must save Earth.  For Allie, it will also be a chance to learn more about science.

The Awesome Allie cast includes Carly Slotts as Allie, Sandra Rivera as Mom, Kiersten Vorheis as Alien and Pal 9000, Scott Anthony as the President, Bill Hanna as Rover and Secret Service Agent, and Cody King as Captain Chaos.  Matt Wallace directed the production.

During Awesome Allie's run, Derby Dinner will also present You're Only Young Twice.  That production will go on until June 30.
