Now that we can drink in our fair city before 1:00 pm on a Sunday (after 10:00, but isn't that the perfect time? Who's out having brunch before 10:00 am on a Sunday anyway?) you're probably wondering: where can I get a great breakfast cocktail?

    1.The Silver Dollar

Because bourbon with brunch is a great idea. Hair of the dog is probably the best way to cure yourself of the Sunday morning blues. My favorite cocktail The Dollar is the Gold Rush, with Old Fitzgerald and honey and lemon. You have to taste it to believe it.

       2. Maker's Mark

Maker's has bottomless Bloody Marys and Mimosas. Bottomless. That means that you pay $10 up front (which you might pay for two mimosas anywhere else!) and you pretty much get all the mimosa or bloody mary you can drink. They might throw you out after ten or so, but hey,

      3. The Village Anchor

One of my Louisville favorites, I think their Allenwrench cocktail (with grapefruit and the tears of baby angels, basically) is a perfect complement to brunch. I also adore their Daisy Buchanan, a champagne cocktail with honeysuckle bitters. They also occasionally do $1 mimosas, which you just can't beat.

      4. Dish on Market

An all around great brunch spot, their mimosas are ridiculously good and fresh, and giant. I mean it, giant. I hate it when you order a mimosa and you just get a little teensy flute of minute made splashed with the suggestion of cheap champagne.

      5. The New Albanian

Their build your own bloody Mary bar starts at 10:00 with their brunch. There are lots of garnishes and sauces and spices available for you to concoct your own hangover remedy. They also have Sweet Cream Lucy liqueur and coffee

Do you have any suggestions for where to brunch and drink?
