Local filmmaker and photographer Antonio Pantoja has won 16 awards in the last year and doesn't plan to stop his rise any time soon. He hopes to begin his first feature film soon and has acquired rights to a Stephen King story.

The 48 Hour Film Project will be screening short films by 33 local teams, who wrote and produced their projects within 48 hours for the annual competition. Showtimes are this Wednesday and Thursday at Village 8 Theaters.
