    Bit to Do

It’s inspiring to see young people who have taken it upon themselves to not wait to make a difference until they are older or professionally-trained.

Local theatre group Kids Acting Against Cancer puts students together who love acting and want to use that talent and passion to make a perceptible difference. In the past, this has meant benefit performances of productions such as Grease and Into the Woods. This year, the group will offer a single performance of Disney’s High School Musical at 8pm on January 15th at the Clifton Center (2117 Payne Street) and will donate all proceeds from the evening to Gilda’s Club Louisville and the University of Louisville Pediatrics Oncology Specialists. The group has even arranged VIP packages at a higher price that will allow audience members preferred seating and access to a special reception.

Tickets are $15 for students and $20 for adults. VIP tickets are $75.
