    Bottoms Up Bash

    This Bash is kicking butt. Literally.
    You’ve never been to a fundraising event like this!  On March 6—National Dress in Blue Day—when most people are donning their best blue gear some will also be dancing the night away at the Mellwood Arts Center. Attendees will be bidding on silent auction items, enjoying delicious drinks and great food, and dancing the night away.  All of this is to fight the number one cancer killer among non-smoking men and women in the U.S.
    The Bash will feature live music by Louisville band Kudmani, heavy appetizers, a dessert bar, blue signature cocktails, wine, beer, and more. Last year, the Bash drew a crowd of over 400 people, and it is expected to be a sell-out this year with over 500 people in attendance.
    Tickets can be purchased online at www.coloncancerpreventionproject.org  through 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4. Attendees must be 21 or older.

    Kentucky's Sustainable Food & Farm Conference

    The Organic Association of Kentucky’s 2015 conference features nationally-reputed expert farmers with experience in dairy, grazing, grassfed beef and diversified production.

    GonzoFest Louisville, in collaboration with Revelry Boutique Gallery, are throwing a Gonzo Art Party in effort to raise funds for GonzoFest Louisville 2015.     Mercury Ballroom will be decked out in Anderson-inspired décor. Also featured will be a video art installation, dioramas and sculptures.
    The event will raise funds for the non-profit, Fair Event Vendors Alliance, and announce the launch of our website  www.fairvendors.org! All event proceeds will go towards FEVA expanding membership, developing workshops and preparing to bring the model to other KY cities in 2016.

    Louisville Health Kick Festival 

    Hwang’s Martial Arts, along with Kosair Children’s Hospital, are once again pleased to announce our annual spring fundraising event, the Louisville Health Kick Festival. On Saturday, March 7th, 2015, from 12 noon until 4 pm, the Kentucky International Convention Center will play host to an afternoon of super fun activities to help families get up and moving.
    Hwang’s Martial Arts wants every family to have fun and get healthy together. There will be free health screenings, an introduction to self-defense clinic, and many activities for the kids. Attendees will also enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime demonstration from the world’s first 19th degree black belt and 1984 Olympic Medalist, Grandmaster Jung Oh Hwang, as well as demonstrations from hundreds of Hwang’s students.
    Our goal is to raise $45,000 for Kosair Children’s Hospital
