    Bit to Do

    Print this page

Living in the upper highlands, I have driven past this location for years, often thinking what a great spot this would be for almost anything.

Since there is a Walgreens, Subway & McDonald’s already in that intersection’s quadrant, those can be marked off the list.

But, what about a different restaurant?

    A new gas station?

ANYTHING else but what my sources have been telling me it will be… a bank.

There are no signs up suggesting what will be there, but rumblings have it that it will be a new bank location.

    What bank?

    No clue.

is telling me the same thing- a bank.

There are already 10 banks within a mile radius of that location.

Basically any bank you can think of has a branch within walking distance of that prime real estate.

PNC, US Bank, Stock Yards, BB&T, Fifth-Third, Chase, River City Bank & Commonwealth are all located almost a stone’s throw from the address.

The joke used to be that there is a Walgreens on every corner in Louisville.

At least with a new Walgreens, you can get a Snuggie, gallon of ice cream, socks and ibuprofen.
