The Mayor's Music and Art Series: Tyrone Cotton
Held in the intimate setting of the Mayor’s Gallery Listening Room at historic Louisville Metro Hall, these monthly shows spotlight local musicians and artists. Performances are the first Thursday of the month, doors open at 11:30 a.m. with music starting at 12:10 p.m. and lasting about 45 minutes. All shows are free and open to the public, first come/first served. “Louisville has an international reputation for its music, performing and visual arts. We are creating a showcase for a diverse mix of performers and artists in the Mayor's Gallery which has great acoustics and comfortable seating.” - Mayor Greg Fischer Grab some great, local food for lunch and enjoy the show! Due to the historic nature of the Mayor’s Gallery, no outside drinks please. Louisville Pure Tap will be available at the performances.

Kentucky Flea Market at the Expo Center
Stop by the Kentucky Expo Center starting July 3rd for one of the nation's finest flea markets. Dealers from across the country and over 600 booths will be present at this 4thof July Spectacular. Bourbon, Barbecue, and Music
Spend this 4th of July with three American favorites – bourbon, barbeque and country music – at the Jim Beam® American Stillhouse! Artrepreneurs at Schneider Hall
Sunday, July 6th is the last day of the Artrepreneurs exhibit at the University of Louisville Hite Art Institute. The first half of the twentieth century in Louisville included incredibly innovative women artists who helped lead the city's changing culture. Initiated as a UofL class project, Artrepreneurs examines the individual creative work of several of these artists, featuring their paintings, prints, and textiles. The collection opened on May 30 and has now reached the end of its run. If you haven't been by to see it yet, now is your last chance. It's not to be missed!

Shakespeare in the Park Presents Henry V
Shakespeare in the Park presents Henry V as part of their 2014 Summer Season. The show, directed by Amy Attaway, runs from June 27 through July 6, with a preview night June 26. The pre-show entertainment begins at 7:30 p.m., and the play begins promptly at 8 p.m. Stop by Central Park in Old Louisville for a taste of Shakespeare to satisfy your hunger for the arts. New Edition Playing at the Yum! Center
R&B and pop music group New Edition will return to the KFC Yum! Center on July 6 for an evening filled with hit music that is sure to keep the crowd on its feet.
