The fireworks have finally ceased in my Germantown neighborhood, but summer is still in full swing. So, what's on the bill for this weekend? Try the weekend trifecta below for a sure bet in family-friendly fun.

Summer Clearance Sale at Just Creations--

Thursday, July 7 through Saturday, July 9th save 50% or more on hundreds of Fair Trade items from around the world including jewelry, home decor, baskets and more. Buy 3 items off the sale table and an additional discount of your choice (15-25%) will be applied to the sale items. What a great way to teach children the importance of shopping locally and with a global conscience (and a good way to keep mom happy, too).

Second Saturday Family Day at the Frazier Museum--

Saturday, July 9 at 11:00 is the monthly Second Saturday Family Day at the Frazier where children ages 5-14 are admitted free with a (free) kids' club membership. This Saturday, celebrate the genius of Da Vinci in a hands-on exhibit devoted to this historical figure and his expertise in painting, inventing, and science. Children will participate in crafts and activities related to this master.

Final Weekend of As You Like It--

As You Like It is running it's last performances this weekend in Central Park. Now through July 10, bring your blanket, bug spray and snacks and introduce the wee ones to The Bard and his brilliance. The story involves wrestling, deceit, romance, and cross-dressing, so everyone will be entertained. The pre-show begins at 7:30 and the curtain is at 8:30.
