Wayward Actors Theatre Company moves to The Bard's Town for an intimate tale of Steel Magnolias, which will open on Friday.

Steel Magnolias will take place on July 12, 13, 16, 19, and 20 at 7:30 p.m. each night.  A matinee will happen on July 21 at 3 p.m. All performances are to go on at The Bard's Town, located at 1801 Bardstown Road in the Highlands.

Tickets for each show are $16 a night for most shows and $11 for the industry night show on July 16.  Reservations are highly recommended due to limited seating and can be done by going to The Bard's Town website.

Steel Magnolias features the lives of six women intersecting at a hair salon.  The women include the town's unofficial social leader, a millionaire with a sweet tooth, one who is not sure if she's married, and others.  The women's lives will take a turn when they realize their own mortality.

Craig Nolan Highley directed the production for Wayward Actors.  The cast includes Kathy Todd Chaney, Katie Hay, Janet Morris, Ashley Raymer-Brown, Jennifer Starr Tennant, and Janice Walter.
