Santa Claus is coming to town to get his chestnuts roasted from an open insult fire by his North Pole pals in The Roast of Santa, which The Bard's Town Theater will present this weekend.
Santa Claus is that merry symbol of the Christmas season who brings toys to all the good boys and girls of the world in one night. Someone with that kind of stature is ripe to be roasted by his many friends, family, and enemies.
Rudolph, The Grinch, Mrs. Claus, and other guests will bring forth the low-blows and insults of Santa and bring plenty of extra cheer for audience members this holiday season.
The Roast of Santa is to happen on Dec. 13 and 14 at 10 p.m. each night. Both performances are to happen at The Bard's Town, located at 1801 Bardstown Road in the Highlands.
Tickets for each show are $10 in advance and $12 at the door, if still available. Due to limited seating, tickets in advance are strongly recommended and can be purchased by calling 1-800-838-3006 or going to The Bard's Town website.
During The Roast of Santa's run, The Bard's Town will also present the popular, returning The Kings of Christmas. That production opens on Thursday.
