In South America, the "Veranico" is a weather phenomenon that brings summer heat to fall months - much like the "Indian Summers" we have here in Louisville. At The Joy Luck, the Veranico is a delicious cocktail, featuring Brazilian Cachaça (a sugar cane spirit), served up in a coup glass. In this installation of Something To Swig, we're visiting The Joy Luck and Bar Manager Todd Fluhr to make a great drink that is the perfect transition from summer to fall.
