Second City of Chicago will travel to Louisville for a 50th anniversary performance on Saturday, which will benefit Gilda's Club in the Gilda's Night of a Thousand Laughs.

The 50th anniversary performance by Second City will take place on Saturday, June 26, at 8 p.m. in the Brown Theatre. The theatre is located at 315 W. Broadway in downtown Louisville.

Tickets for the show cost $25 and $35 per person. Second City tickets can be purchased at the Kentucky Center For the Arts box office, online at the Kentucky Center website, or by calling 502-584-7777. More information on the show can be found at the Second City and Gilda's Club websites.

VIP ticket sales, which is $150 per person, will benefit Gilda's Club and allow those to participate in a cocktail reception, performance, and after dinner party. Meanwhile, Second City, which has had alumni like Tina Fey, John Candy, and Mike Myers, will perform comedy routines in celebration of its 50 years of history.

Gilda's Club works to help those battling cancer, as well as friends and family members, via support groups, workshops, social activities, and education, among other avenues. The group was named after Gilda Radner, a Second City alum who passed away from cancer in 1989.
