Kentucky Kingdom is holding a job fair this Saturday, January 4 at the Coronet Ballroom at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 830 Phillips Lane. If your last name begins with A-M it's from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and if your last name begins with N-Z it's from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. According to the page on Kentucky Kingdom's website:
"The focus of Saturday's job fair is to introduce potential employees to the park's management team and show them the many types of jobs the park offers. The park will be represented by the department directors and managers, who will be meeting and greeting prospective team members, explaining the role of their departments, and offering hands-on, interactive experiences to give them insight into how the various departments operate."
Hourly wages will start at $8.50, with supervisors earning up to $10 an hour. Hired employees will get a free season pass, tickets for their family and friends, and an invitation to attend pre-opening parent's night. Those interested should apply online and then attend the job fair; attendance at the job fair isn't required, but it's recommended.
