Join The Voice-Tribune for our Breeders’ Cup Fascinator & Fedora contest tonight at Churchill Downs. The fashion contest will reward two race fans with $5,000 each; one wearing a fascinator and one wearing a fedora. All attendees are invited to participate. The contest takes place in the Aristides Garden located in the paddock area at Churchill Downs.
The contest will take place between Race 5 which has a 4:10 p.m. post time and Race 7 which has a post time of 5:30 p.m. After Race 7 the top five fascinators and top five fedoras will be called back for final judging. The winners will be announced by Race 8 at the post time of 6:10 p.m.
Fascinators and fedoras will surely be the highlight of all fashion talk from this weekend. Be sure to support local businesses and shop local for all your Breeders Cup attire.
