    Bit to Do

Varanese Bourbon and Broadway Four Course Meal
    Print this page

One of Louisville’s most acclaimed restaurants in town, Varanese is kicking off Labor Day weekend on Frankfort Avenue with foodie style. Ever wanted to relish a creative four-course meal exclusively inspired by the arts? I don’t know about you, Louisvillians, but Broadway musicals and food are two of my favorite things in life. Varanese gets it. And they want to celebrate Louisville’s upcoming 2014-2015 Broadway season in the most appetizing way possible.

This Thursday, August 28th, Varanese’s fourth Bourbon and Broadway dazzling reception starts at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m. Each dish to be delightfully devoured derives inspiration from one of the 2014-2015 Louisville Broadway productions. As this is Kentucky, and we really like our bourbon, the evening will sparkle with even more Southern essence. Prepare to embrace the debut of Four Roses 2014 Limited Edition Single Barrel, along with Four Roses Brand Ambassador, Bourbon Historian, and author Al Young, the guest speaker for the occasion.

Interested in potentially winning a pair of 2014-2015 season tickets to Broadway in Louisville and a Four Roses gift basket? All attendees can enter to win this Louisville lotto!

At $55 per person (plus tax and gratuity), relish an exceptional evening, where foodies, theatre fans, and bourbon enthusiasts can unite in chic merriment. Reservations are a must. Call (502) 899-9904 or email letsdine@varanese.com today to start Labor Day weekend early with a truly special evening.

Owner/Chef John Varanese was recently honored as one of our country’s brightest culinary masterminds in the premier edition of Best Chefs America. The Kentucky Restaurant Association awarded Chef Varanese Restaurateur of the Year in 2012. Really fun fact: Varanese is also an official stop on Louisville’s Urban Bourbon Trail.
