In a Disney fairytale, you typically will see an epic ballroom scene, with eager individuals from all over the fictional land gliding in radiant fashion, with smiles, perhaps a shimmering glass slipper, and princely swagger to boot.
The inner foodie in me always has wondered: What kind of gourmet fusions do these characters have the enchanted privilege of savoring?

Starting at 6:00 p.m., embrace this culinary fairytale by sampling creations from the finest restaurants from all over our great city.
Hold the salivating and be ready to procure a ticket ($50.00 per person) when you read the participating restaurants for 2014’s affair:

Selena’s at Willow Lake Tavern
Hosted by the Kentucky Restaurant Association, and this year sponsored by Universal Linen Service, The Taste of Louisville is all about introducing Louisvillians to a variety of foods and drinks, from sweet to savory, caffeinated to alcoholic. Simultaneously, while expanding your palate, Taste of Louisville plays a major part in supporting the community. Since 1974, this timeless classic has helped raise $250,000 for local charities.
Last year’s 40th The Taste of Louisville was the first foodie event I ever had the joy of attending, and it made for one memorable date. There is nothing quite like the magic of a first impression.
Speaking of first impressions, Roux Louisville is a brand new Cajun & New Orleans restaurant bringing the sizzling NOLA flavors. I for one look forward to seeing what concoction they will showcase.
Will Ghyslain continue to bring its “A” game with sensational treats? Which creative, fresh sushi options might Drakes present this year? From trying perpetual favorites to discovering new ones, the 41st Taste of Louisville is an event you certainly do not want to miss.
