The University of Louisville presents one of its most celebrated event this weekend. The 13th annual International Fashion Show, sponsored by the Student Activities Board, brings fashion and dance from around the world to campus this Friday, Jan. 30. This year's theme, “Across the Seven Seas,” features 8o models dressed in attire from around the world as well as pieces from student designers and boutiques including Blush Boutique, General Eccentric, Establish, and Caden.

As if the fashion won't be eye catching enough, students and professional dancer will perform throughout the show including Lion Dancing, Traditional Indian Bhangra, and Korean K-pop performers. To round off the exhibition of fashion and culture, Ramsi's Cafe on the World will provide dinner featuring an array of different flavors from around the world. As SAB’s longest running tradition, this event acts to unite the students and community through the same beauty that is embodied by all cultures.

The event begins at 7 p.m. with performances beginning at 8 p.m.. UofL students, faculty and staff may purchase advance tickets for $5 with a university ID at the front desk of the Student Activities Office (SAC W310). Tickets at the door will be $7 for students and $8 for the community. For more information, call the Student Activities Board at 852-6691.
