    Weekly Event

Some people just talk about the resurgence of vinyl. Some people do something about it. Zach Hart (We Listen For You blogger and Doppelgang Media co-creator) is one of the people doing something about it. He is the man behind Vinyl Night at Haymarket Whiskey Bar every Monday from 8 p.m. – 1 a.m. Spinelli’s usually brings free pizza. You can bring your own vinyl to play. Haymarket Whiskey Bar is big enough that Vinyl Night is not the only thing happening on Monday nights at the venue usually. There is usually a show going on at the music hall simultaneously. Have all the music fun you want.

Zach is easy to find. He’s the guy wearing the tattered Detroit Tigers hat. Conveyor and Go Mordecai will be playing in the music hall next Monday to accompany Vinyl Night.

    Forecastle

The Belle of Louisville has added another performer added to its late night show for Friday night. Opening for Mimosa will be Beni Haze, a DJ and producer from Los Angeles via Virginia. That show starts at 12 a.m. and tickets cost $19.

    Waterfront Wednesday

WFPK will be announcing the rest of their Waterfront Wednesday schedule Monday morning. It looks like they have two slots (including a headliner) to accompany The Deloreans on July 30 and one slot on September 17 to accompany Lake Street Dive and 23 String Band.
