Louisville’s biggest showing of experimental music returns for its fifth year at American Turner’s Club on River Road on September 26-28. General admission tickets are currently $50. You can find more information here and a full lineup here.
Louisville Music Awards
To recognize the blossoming Louisville music, scene the Louisville Music Awards started last year with great performances, awards per genre and legacy awards. They will be at it again this year on September 28. Tickets are $10 and the show will be begin at 7 pm.
Seven Sense Festival
In this town of festivals, there always seems to be more popping up, but the more the merrier because most are just as great as the last. With that, Seven Sense Festival will be taking place on Preston Street with two outdoor stages as well as inside Zanzabar and The New Vintage. You can find more information here.

Guestroom Records will be hosting Dawn Landes for a free, all ages in store performance at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 7.
