We see you appreciate a good vintage. But there comes a time to try something new. Click here to head over to the redesigned Louisville.com. It's where you'll find all of our latest work. And plenty of the good ol' stuff, too, looking better than ever.

Holly Houston is a talented lawyer, compassionate humanitarian and a connector. She's the whole package and she let me know a thing or two about fashion--it's all about the accessories.

I met her Houston at the Gillespie at an event sponsored by the Junior League of Louisville. JLL is a group of woman who are committed to volunteering and developing the potential in woman. These women are key players in the development of Louisville's greatest programs including KidsZone at the Louisville Science Center, Ronald McDonald House, Race for the Cure and Playscape at Waterfront Park.

The Backpack was what everyone was doting Saturday night. Kids' academics, school attendance, behavior and health cannot be discussed without talking about nutrition. The Blessings In A Backpack program is awesome for seeing the simplicity in a problem- just water it and it will grow. Please take just two minutes to help a child and nation fill a backpack.

I wore a t-shirt from Why Louisville to the event, it read "Show your books some love." I thought it was very fitting for an event as we should not only put food in a backpack, of course, but books as well. As you all know, I'm a, shop local kind of girl, if I can be. Why Louisville also has a favorite of mine: Louisville's signature t-shirt, the green, "Gettin' lucky in Kentucky," which has become the local equivalent to the iconic "I love NY" shirt.

As I followed the evening to Prime Lounge I noticed many people there too were sporting cool t-shirts. Crisp white shirts with a huge orange logo reading JDub consumed the club. I respect Joey Wagner for not only JDub Entertainment and his brand but fr being an incredible person. Just like Holly, Joey supports and connects many programs and people in the community
