The American Red Cross is storming into Louisville with a number of upcoming blood drives, and needs you to consider being a donor.
And why is it important to give blood?
Facts About Blood Donation
-Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood.
-More than 38,000 blood donations are needed every day.
-The average adult has 10-12 pints of blood. Roughly 1 pint is given during donation.
-One donation can help save the lives of up to three people!
