Local theatre actors can kill 19 birds with one stone this Saturday, May 12th, as the Theatre Alliance of Louisville hosts unified auditions.

At least 19 local companies will be in attendance at the auditions, and those present will be looking for a variety of men and women (minimum participation age is that of a high school senior) to fill roles in their upcoming seasons.

Actors must prepare either two contrasting monologues (one minute each) or one monologue and 16 bars of a song. An accompanist will be provided.

Actor registration is Saturday from 8:15-10:00 A.M. in the main lobby of the Hartford Building at the Jefferson Community College Campus in downtown Louisville. A mandatory actor orientation meeting will occur at 8:45 A.M., followed by the monologue sessions. Movement, dance, and individual callback sessions are scheduled for later in the afternoon.
