Much Ado about Alice and mothers will take place during Looking for Lilith's 2012-13 theatre season.

During the season, Looking for Lilith will present three shows, Much Ado About Nothing (October), Alice in Black and White (Feb.-Mar. 2013), and Becoming Mothers (May 2013).  Performances will take place at various venues around town.

Tickets for each show will be $18 for adults, $15 for seniors, and $15 for students.  For shows on Mondays, tickets will be $10 per person.  Ticket purchasing information will become available as each show premieres.

Looking for Lilith will open the season with the Shakespearean comedy Much Ado About Nothing. Claudio falls in love with Hero, the daughter of a respected nobleman.  Beatrice and Benedick also wind up falling in love in between insults.  Don John, however, is looking to ruin whatever delightful plans the couples have.  The play will feature an all-female cast, a twist on the Shakespearean tradition of casting all-male casts.

Much Ado About Nothing will be performed at The Alley Theater, located at 1205 E. Washington Street, from Oct. 4-13.

Next, during Women's History Month, will be the world premiere of Alice in Black and White.  The production is a humorous and heartbreaking tale of Alice Austen's life and photographic works.  Robin Rice Lichtig created the production, which for the first time in Looking for Lilith's history will contain male actors.

Alice in Black and White will go on at the Mex Theater in the Kentucky Center for the Arts, located at 501 West Main Street in downtown Louisville, from Feb. 28-March 9.

Finally, Looking for Lilith will celebrate Mother's Day with performances of its original work, Becoming Mothers.  The production features the process of women becoming mother during different generation and under a variety of circumstances.  The production was most recently in development during LFL's 10th anniversary celebration.

Becoming Mothers will occur in the Victor Jory Theatre at Actors Theatre, located at 316 West Main Street in downtown Louisville, from May 9-18.
