Vanessa and Carl have decided to throw a party. It's Saturday, May 4th, 1974 and it's Derby day in Louisville, Kentucky. The thing is, the party they had in mind is not your ordinary, run of the mill Derby party. It's been only one month since the devastating tornadoes of April 3rd, and they want to do something special for their friends who have lost so much. They want to give their friends a night to divert their worries and celebrate their fantasies. They want to give their friends, and themselves, a party they won't soon forget. Vanessa and Carl have decided to throw a key party. Written and directed by Brian Walker and starring a slew of local talent, including Leah Roberts as Vanessa and Andy Pyle as Carl.

422 W. Oak St. Women of Will, a one-act compilation by director Kathi E.B. Ellis of scenes and monologues depicts Shakespeare's most powerful, influential, and intriguing women. Lilith’s production will explore the influence of Shakespeare and Shakespeare's time on how female characters were written and performed, while at the same time exploring the influence of William Shakespeare’s female characters on subsequent generations of audiences and performers.

The Triangle Project, based on the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire of 1911 in New York City, explores the lives of women and girls who were tragically killed in that garment factory fire, the ensuing trial against the owners, and how the labor rights movement was galvanized by this event.

This bilingual play shares a powerful story of friendship between two very different young women, an optimistic volunteer from the US and a generous Mayan mother from Guatemala who opens her home to host the volunteer. Based on the experiences of company members who lived as volunteers in Guatemala for a year.
Looking for Lilith will also continue its outstanding Outreach Programs this season. This will be their second year as the theatre company-in-residence at the dePaul School, offering 8 weeks of drama classes throughout the school year. They are also pleased to return to Cairo Elementary in Henderson, KY to continue their work exploring community stories and drama skills there through another KAC TIP grant. Plans are in the works to return to the Brown School and Presentation High School, as the last two years work with those schools has been so rewarding. They hope to return to offer a residency at their alma mater of the Youth Performing Arts School again this school year. Building on successful relationships with EKU and Berea College over the past two years, they plan to bring “The Triangle Project” to them this spring. Having just returned from their fourth summer residency in Guatemala, they are already making plans for their next trip, which may happen as soon as next spring. Their Faith Stories Project work in Guatemala has sparked interest in the U.S. and they expect to hold such Retreats with women in the KY and DC areas this upcoming season. After a trial run at a summer drama camp this June, they have plans to grow their summer camp next summer. And many many more outreach projects are in the works!

The Laramie Project paints a picture of Matthew Shepard, brutally beaten on the outskirts of Laramie, WY in October 1998, from the thoughts of people who knew him and then moves from his encounter at the Fireside Bar with Russell Henderson and Aaron McKinney to finding the body, the invasion of the media, the reactions of the townspeople, medical reports on Shepard’s condition, the funeral and the trials of Henderson and McKinney. This revival for Pandora will be directed by the company’s Artistic Director, Michael J. Drury.

Stop Kiss is a funny, poignant, horrifying, and finally inspiring urban play. The play's title refers to the casualness and the spontaneity of an act that would be accepted as normal between a man and woman, but which in this play prompts an act of violence. An unsettled helicopter traffic reporter finds romance and happiness with a totally together third grade school teacher.

The Little Dog Laughed explores the professional problems of secrecy. Mitchell begins an affair with a young prostitute named Alex while visiting New York. Diane has secured the film rights to a play in which the lead male character is gay. More than an extended satiric sketch the playwright uses the big lie to consider more subtle forms of self-deception.

There, they were systematically worked, tortured and starved to death. I Am My Own Wife was the winner of the 2004 Pulitzer Prize and the 2004 Tony Award. Based on a true story, and inspired by interviews conducted by the playwright over several years, the play tells the fascinating tale of Charlotte von Mahlsdorf, a real-life German transvestite who managed to survive both the Nazi onslaught and the repressive East German Communist regime. Former theater critic for the Courier-Journal, Roger Fristoe, stars in this one man tour de force directed by Rand Harmon of Specific Gravity Company.
