New York attorney-cum-award-winning author Doreen Cronin will participate in a book signing and audience Q&A after the production of a fun, nationally produced staged adaptation of her well-known "Diary of" children’s book series: "Diary of a Worm," "Diary of a Spider," and "Diary of a Fly." The play, "Diary of a Worm, a Spider, and a Fly," is being produced by Louisville's StageOne Family Theatre and will run at the Bomhard Theatre at the Kentucky Center on Saturday, May 10 and Saturday, May 17 at 11 AM and 2 PM. Cronin will be present at the May 10 shows for an author signing after each performance in addition to an audience Q&A following the 2 PM event.

A family friendly show for the "young at heart” and recommended for kids age 4 and older, this stage adaptation highlights the excitement and trepidation shared by the thoughtful and relatable characters in Cronin's popular children’s series – the adventurous fly, the serious spider, and the shy worm – all of whom are about to begin a brand new school year with their own concerns, expectations, and hopes.

Tickets are still available and can be purchased by calling the Kentucky Center (502)584-7777, buying in person at the box office: 501 W. Main Street, Louisville, or ordering online. (Group rates are available for parties of 12+.)

*Note: The 11 AM show on May 10 is a sensory-friendly performance.
