Ten Ways To Celebrate Your Love Of Bourbon
    Print this page

Looking for some ideas for incorporating your love of bourbon into Valentine's day?  We've got you covered:

     1. Try these red velvet bourbon cake balls. Everyone loves cake balls and everyone should love bourbon, so they are bound to be a hit.
     2. Make Valentine’s Day reservations at one of the many awesome restaurants on the Urban Bourbon Trail.
     3. Buy your tickets to the Bourbon Classic, which takes place the weekend after Valentine’s Day.

     4. Art Eatables Bourbon Truffles are my preferred Valentine’s Day candy. They’re actually my preferred any day candy if you want total honesty. They pair cocoa with bourbon to make each of their over 30 varieties a unique treat with a little edible logo on top.
     5. Drunkwood makes some awesome things from reclaimed bourbon barrels, so why not add a little ambience with barrel stave tea light holders? You can find these and other awesome gifts on the Drunkwood Facebook page.
     6. Try preparing these Sea Scallops in a Bourbon Jalapeno Cream Sauce, because nothing says I love you quite like heavy whipping cream.
     7. Plan a day out with Mint Julep Tours. It’s a great way to relax and enjoy the scenery as you travel from distillery to distillery.
     8. Get your bourbon-loving sweetie some great bourbon drinking accessories, like a new Glencarin glass from the Kentucky Whisky Chicks, Balls of Steel, or an Icebirg Press.
     9. Gift your significant other a bottle of bourbon. The nice thing about bourbon is that there are strict rules about quality, so if it says bourbon on the label, chances are it’s going to be great.
     10. Do a little hometown bourbon tourism at The Evan Williams Bourbon Experience or The Bulleit Experience at Stitzel-Weller.

Can you think of any other ways to celebrate your love of bourbon?  Tweet me @LouGirl502- I’d love to hear them!
