Plenty of tricks, secrets, and love connections are unlocked in The Taming of the Shrew, a KY Shakespeare production that will run this weekend.

Taming of the Shrew will occur June 18-21 at 8:30 p.m. each night.  All shows are to happen at Central Park, located at the corner of 4th and Magnolia Streets in Old Louisville.

All shows are free, but be sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket in which to sit. More information on the show can be found at the KY Shakespeare website.

Taming of the Shrew focuses on two sisters, Katherine and Bianca, and the suitors that want them, or at least think they want them.  A new person to town has fallen for Bianca, but there's a problem.  Per their father's orders, no one can court Bianca until Katherine is wed.  This leads to plenty of comedic encounters, disguises, and secret deals.

KY Shakespeare's Player's Conservatory, a group made up of high school students working with KY Shakespeare this summer, will perform the production.
