If you’ve had your fill of left-over-Thanksgiving-turkey sandwiches, the insanity that is Black Friday, and are ready to swing into the next round of holiday, kick off the spirit by joining The Louisville Free Public Library next Tuesday, November 30th at 6:30 for a special Nutcracker Family Storytime

The Louisville Ballet and the Main Library have teamed up to offer an all-ages, family storytime featuring the classic Christmas story, The Nutcraker. Louisville Ballet dancer Christy Corbitt Miller will read the classic tale and have a chance to view the actual Sugar Plum Fairy costume up-close. If you’ve always wanted to take your family to the magical ballet with its trademark dancing Russians and pirouetting sugar plums, then join the library next Thursday for a chance to win 4 free tickets to the ballet. As usual, the library’s event is free and open to the public. The Louisville Ballet's Nutcracker runs from December 4-19th.

For more information, contact the Main Library Children’s Department at 574-1620
