Sound Support is a new local concert series presented by Camp Quality Kentuckiana in an effort to raise money for their year round support and FREE summer camp for kids with cancer. The non-profit organization relies on donations and support from the community to provide an experience that allows "kids with cancer to be kids again".
Eddie Bobbit, Director of Development, started the fundraiser to connect Kentuckiana's unique music scene with the willingness of our communities to give back to one another. Sound Support is a year round effort bringing local musicians, venues, and people together for a good cause.
The kick off for Sound Support will be April 25th at Kaiju. The line up will include Bookshelf, Dream Eye Color Wheel, and Black Birds of Paradise. Tickets are $7 at the door. All proceeds will go to support Camp Quality and all the goodness they are providing for our community and kids with cancer. You can watch Sound Support's PSA with Sarah Hewett-Ball from Cabin here.
Mark your calendars for other Sound Support shows featuring: Cabin and Phourist at Bard's Town on July 3rd and Wildwood at Wicks Pizza in New Albany on July 12th.
