SOFO to host first-ever SoFo hop next Friday
    Print this page

This Friday, you may be doing a trolley hop along Frankfort Avenue. Two Saturdays prior, you may have ridden the New Cut Road Trolley down in southern Jefferson County along Outer Loop. And of course, you’ll probably board the First Friday Trolley to visit all the shops and museums along Main Street this coming Friday.

Should you decide that you’ve seen it all on Main Street, however, might we suggest heading down to SOFO? From 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 7, the South Fourth Street District – the area along Fourth Street between the Seelbach Hotel on Muhammad Ali Boulevard and the Brown Hotel on Broadway – will host its first-ever First Friday SoFo Hop. Six of the nine retailers that make up SOFO – Art Eatables, Block Party Handmade Boutique, Les Filles Louisville, Regalo, Gifthorse and Celebrations – will be open during this time, and guests can enjoy refreshments, enter to win prizes, experience free do-it-yourself crafts, take in art and entertainment galore, and of course, shop until they drop.

For more information about the SoFo hop, you can follow the official SOFO Facebook page, as well as the Facebook pages of the participating retailers linked in the preceding paragraph.

UPDATE: No trolleys will actually participate in the SoFo hop, according to LDMC Communications Specialist Keith Brooks via our friends at Insider Louisville. The Shoe Leather Express will be available for hopping from store to store on the 7th, however.
