If your hair is feeling a little shaggy, and you're just tired of your massive collection of commercially produced video games, then have I got the event for you.
Tomorrow night, Mommy's Best Games, Inc. and Market Street Barbers will join together to showcase locally produced video games as well as locally produced haircuts. Games can be played for free on consoles, mobile devices, and computers, and the developers will be there to help you along the way. Along with Mommy's Best Games, who will be promoting Serious Sam Double D XXL on X Box Live, local developers from Lexington, Bloomington, and Indianapolis will be present as well.
The games range from shooters to puzzlers to multiplayer partiers, including a four-player space pig game (yes, you read that right the first time), and a chance to shave a developer's head if you beat the high score of his own game. The free event will also offer other, more mysterious prizes.
And if you get hungry or thirsty, there's beer next door and food trucks outside.
So start flexing your fingers and practicing holding still for tomorrow night's happening.
The games will start at 7 and end around 11. The event also coincides with the Trolley Hop. Everything will take place at Market Street Barbers, 748 E. Market Street. For more information, check out their Facebook event page.
